David Swanson analyzes the sentence of Bradley Manning's 35  year sentence.  He could have gotten 136 yrs.  Did public protest contribute to the lighter sentence?  He should of course have been set free, thanked, honored for making he public aware of the arbitrary murders of our military against unarmed civilians.  Swanson reports on Manning's chances of winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Nick Donavan, Board founder & member of the Whittier Hills Oil Watch reports on the double cross of the Exec. Dir of the Santa Monica Mts Conservancy in selling out the town of Whittier Hills, CA  to big oil.  Betrayers among our own represent a growing problem.

Lance Simens of Citizen Trade Campaigns discusses the danger of congress voting for "fast track"?    What is it and what does it have to do with the TPP, the dreaded corporate leadership group, that wants to supplant governments on virtually every issue.   All Monday morning at 7 on CONNECT THE DOTS.

Liberty Speaks - KABC Talk Radio

With Eddie Diaz and Paula Valle talking about the Whittier Oil project - October 22, 2011

Whittier Hills Oil Watch (WHOW) is a non-partisan organization of concerned homeowners, residents and business owners who are working together to preserve the Whittier hills from oil drilling. WHOW opposes the oil drilling project proposed by the Whittier City Council, because of the negative environmental impact (i.e., to the surrounding community, wildlife, flora, air, and water in addition to traffic congestion and noise pollution) and decision to drill on a habitat preserve. Additionally the drilling would be near Mar Vista Elementary School where a special education preschool is located. To learn more about the Whittier Hills Oil Watch please visit www.whittierhillsoilwatch.org.
